Jul 07, 2014

The San Francisco 49ers recently announced that they have completely sold out all 68,500 seats at their new Santa Clara stadium for the upcoming 2014 season. In response to the sellout, the 49ers made several announcements regarding ticket availability for home games. The first was the opening of an additional 1,500 standing room only tickets that will be sold before each game. The second announcement was that an addition 500 seated tickets would be available for purchase prior to each home game. With the additional seats, the 49ers should be holding a strong 70,000 at each game, and the stadium can still expand up to 75,000 seats for special occasions.

Pro Media / UltraSound field crews & engineers work to put the final touches on the audio & audio-visual systems for the main seating bowl, luxury suites and numerous premium back of house clubs & specialty areas. Certainly the technology in the stadium will be a big highlight for the fans with a big buzz in the sports industry about the capabilities of the new stadium.

The $1.3 billion Levi Stadium is set to host the 49ers’ first home game before a nationally televised audience on NBC September 14 against the Chicago Bears. Actual first use will be an Earthquakes soccer game on August 2.
