Demetrius Palavos is the senior designer and engineer and has been with Pro Media / UltraSound for the past 10 years working on a variety of projects for collegiate and professional stadium and arenas.

Responsibilities include engineer/project management, project site surveys, producing shop drawings and product data submittal and as-built package, installation support, as well as system testing/commissioning, user training and programming for amplifier, DSP and AV control. Recent projects of note include the new Dallas Cowboys Texas stadium, the refit of the Anaheim California Honda Center and new Stanford University stadium.

Palavos is well known in the audio visual community for his expertise in control systems. His advice is sought by numerous designers at the start of designs. He participates regularly in workshops and presentations at sponsored Audio Engineering Society conventions helping to refine real-world criteria necessary for future implementation of control system standards used throughout the audio-visual community. He is often asked for quotes on timely topics involving control systems by industry trade magazines.
